Riding bikes under the bridge

Colin, Emma and I went to the park again, but this time we drove (since Rich was home sick). We did put their bikes in the back so that they could ride them on the trail that goes under the bridge. Colin was so excited because he had never been under a bridge before, so away we went. They had a great time riding down the path and even more fun playing at the park afterward! So glad that the weather has been good this year!

Playing at the park

Colin rode his bike down to the park while I pushed Emma in the stroller. We went to the park that is about a mile away so it was a long way for them but once we got there they had a great time playing! Emma is in LOVE with the swing and laying over it on her tummy!

Lil' Kickers - Lesson 4

Yay!! Colin had another lesson with no tears! He did great today and really seems to enjoy soccer! I am so glad that he really likes going! Emma has a great time while we are there until it is time for Colin's lesson to start then she gets sad. "I wanna play with Tolin" (yeah, it comes out Tolin most of the time instead of Colin). She just wants to sit on my lap until Colin is done and as soon as he is she is just as happy as she was before his lesson started!

Trying to get leaves from the trees

Colin and Emma played in the backyard today while I did some cleaning. I went to look out the backdoor to check on them and this is what I found:

Emma wasn't feeling the best so she wasn't up and moving as much to get her picture taken today, but Colin was sneaking around trying to go see his daddy!

Colin really enjoys riding his bike, we plan on getting him a bigger bike for Christmas as he has almost out grown this one!

Yard Work

Today was a very long day! Luckily Emma and Colin did sleep in today even with the change of "falling back" due to Daylight Savings. We started our day with a long walk, long for them anyway, and Rich went with us today!! Then it was time to start cleaning up the toys in the backyard before winter and getting rid of all of the leaves on the ground. Colin and Emma helped as much as possible in between playing.

Colin was sad to see the leaves go from the front yard, but he did enjoy helping to rake them up and watching Rich suck them up with the leaf blower! Emma didn't care for all of the loud noise, but still liked being outside for the day!

Both kids skipped the midday nap so bedtime came early tonight, I hope that they both sleep well!
