Story Time

Each night before bed we read the kids a book in Colin's room. The kids really love it! Rich and I take turns reading each night. Thursday night was Rich's turn. He decided he was tired of the Hungary Caterpillar book so he picked a new one for the night! The kids seemed to like it!

Mailing Packages

I am getting a few packages ready to mail out, let me know if you want to get Colin, Emma or both in the mail! They are in love with the box that I gave them to play with and want to be in it with the lid closed most of the time until I pushed the sides down!

Snow!!

Colin and Emma got to shovel snow today. Okay, it was only for like 5 minutes, but still they got to do it! It is pretty darn cold outside so I decided that 5 minutes was about enough time! They both had fun and wanted to do it longer and kept asking the rest of the day to go out again, but maybe tomorrow!

That's right my computer is fixed!!!! Pictures will be coming soon!! Yay to Rich and the Sony tech that came to the house and put a new motherboard in my laptop!!

Soccer and snow!

Colin had soccer practice today and had a great time! There are different kids in this class and he really seems to do better with these kids then the last ones! Today there was a little baby girl there (old enough to walk) and Emma had a great time playing with her and watching Colin! Today's class really flew by!


We started getting snow tonight and the kids were so excited. Colin is so looking forward to being able to shovel the snow from our driveway to the street. Hope that it will still be there in the morning for him!!

Helping Daddy

Colin and Emma helped Rich to put together our new bench. They had such a great time helping to put the screws in the holes and tightening them down. Once the bench was finished both really liked sitting on it, so I hope that it will make coming and going easier with shoes and gloves.

What an awesome Tuesday!

Today was a busy day! Colin started the winter session of soccer today and since it was supposed to be almost 60 degrees today we went to the zoo after practice was over.

Soccer practice went pretty good, even though Coach Toby isn't there anymore Colin still had a great time. He has different people in his class this time which I think will be good for him. Most of the other kids in the class seem to be just a little younger than him instead of a little older than him so he seems to fit in well. The only con I see so far is that most of the other kids are a lot more laid back that Colin is, so sometimes they are not the most energetic bunch! There are more boys this time so that may be good for him as well! They spent most of the class playing games and he said afterward that he had a great time!

Once Colin got changed out of his soccer uniform we headed for the zoo. Tuesday is their discounted day and we still had 2 free tickets. I found out once we got that that since Emma is 2 she is free, so admission cost us nothing! Yay for that!! We actually got to see more animals this time, we road the train, the tram and the carousel. Both of them loved it and had a great time! There were a lot of animals that were not out due to the fact that it is supposed to be December with coldness and snow, but we still got the chance to see animals from Africa and Australia with a few sea otters in the middle! The new polar bears will be at the zoo next year so we plan to make a trip back for that as well. The kids also found the playground equipment and had a great time on that, at least it wasn't the first thing they found otherwise we would have never gotten past it!!
