We had Nana down today for Mother's day. The kids had gotten her a cake from Sugar & Spice Confections and it was great. It was made in the shape of a teapot, one of Nana's favorite things! We also made lunch for Nana. We had grilled chicken breast and steak along with salad and deviled eggs.
Colin was impressed with my garden that I had planted over the weekend (all in containers so if it doesn't work out it is easier to hide the evidence that I even attempted it)! We planted a cherry tomato plant, an eggplant plant (that is kind of weird to say!), leaf lettuce, baby cesar lettuce, spinach, green onions, spearmint, sweet basil, and radishes. In about a week we will see how they are all doing!
